Contraindications to MRI.
The following items are contraindicated to MRI. This list is provided
as an initial screening tool for referring physicians. All patients
will be screened at the MRI facility prior to their examination. Additional
questions may be addressed to a DCMRC physician. Please call (919) 668-5580.

Implanted cardiac defibrillator
Aneurysm clips
Carotid artery vascular clamp
Neurostimulator
Insulin or infusion pump
Implanted drug infusion device
Bone growth/fusion stimulator
Cochlear, otologic, or ear implant
