DCMRC Facilities

The DCMRC consists of three physical locations: administrative offices, an outpatient scanner, and an inpatient scanner. Both MRI scanners are state-of-the-art 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Sonata systems fully equipped for cardiovascular imaging.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: The DCMRC offices are currently located in Duke Clinic (Duke South). Permanent office space for the Center will become available in late 2003. Please click on 'Contact Us' link below for more information about our current location.

OUTPATIENT SCANNER: The Duke South DCMRC facility comprises 3,300 sq.ft. The facility is fully equipped for patient scanning and basic research.

INPATIENT SCANNER: The Duke North DCMRC facility houses an MRI scanner identical to that of the Duke South facility. The purpose of identical scanners is to facilitate rapid transfer of research advances to the inpatient setting. This scanner is located on the 7th floor of Duke Hospital adjacent to the adult cardiac catheterization laboratories.
